Usher announced on Wednesday that he and fiancée Tameka Foster are expecting their first child together.In a statement given to the Associated Press the expecting parents said, “We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together. We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives.”

According to a representative for Usher, the baby is due in the fall is the first for Usher and fourth for Foster, who is recently divorced. Expected to release a follow-up to his 2005 Grammy-winning album Confessions, Usher has a busy year ahead of him. Aside from the new album release the baby and a wedding, Usher has a fragrance due out in September.
